St John is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, located just north of Brenham, Texas. Our congregational family is always striving toward being more faithful disciples of our Lord, and seeking ways to help spread God’s Kingdom.

Dear Members of Saint John,
As many of you already know, our daughter, Layla Margaret Hansen, was born on September 17, 2007. In the weeks following Layla’s birth, we have been blessed to be supported by this loving family of Saint John Lutheran Church. Thank you all for the cards, gifts, visits, and phone calls. But most of all, thank you for your prayers as we begin our life as a family – we have truly felt the blessings of your many prayers during the last few weeks.
We are so happy to be raising our daughter here in this community, where she is surrounded by so many loving men and women of faith.
